We kept seeing people buy instant cameras just for one day. The idea is great. The reality? You’re guessing how much film you’ll need, spending more than expected, and ending up with cameras and leftover packs you’ll probably never use again.

Instant cameras are brilliant at events — but most people don’t need to own them. 

Then there’s the phone problem.

Someone takes a great photo and says,

“I’ll send that to you.”
